Diamante

Diamante occupies 1,500 acres along 1.5 miles of Pacific coastline, six miles north of downtown Cabo San Lucas. The community is home to the only property worldwide with three Tiger Woods-designed golf courses, including El Cardonal, which hosts the PGA Tour’s World Wide Technology Championship annually. A 10-acre saltwater Crystal Lagoon provides a swimmable alternative to the dramatic but unswimmable Pacific beach.

About Diamante

Developer Ken Jowdy acquired the property in 2006 and opened Diamante in 2009 with Davis Love III’s Dunes Course, which now ranks #1 in Mexico and has reached as high as #36 worldwide in Golf Magazine’s Top 100. Tiger Woods chose Diamante for his first-ever golf course design, El Cardonal, which opened in December 2014 and became the first Woods-designed course to host a PGA Tour event when the World Wide Technology Championship moved here in 2023.

The community sits on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas, where the desert meets the ocean. Unlike the calmer Sea of Cortez beaches on the East Cape and San Jose Corridor, Diamante’s Pacific beach is not swimmable due to strong currents. The solution: a 10-acre saltwater Crystal Lagoon at the center of the resort, one of the largest pools in North America, with seven zero-entry beach areas for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

Beyond golf, Diamante offers a full-service spa, state-of-the-art fitness center with 25-meter lap pool, tennis and pickleball courts, six miles of hiking trails, and multiple dining options including The Woods Cabo, Tiger Woods’ signature restaurant. The community continues to expand with the Legacy Club, a third Tiger Woods course, and an ultra-private enclave limited to 250 families, expected to open in late 2026.

Real Estate in Diamante

Diamante’s residential neighborhoods range from fractional ownership condos to custom oceanfront estates across six distinct communities.

Beach Estates occupy approximately one-acre lots with direct Pacific Ocean access. These custom homes offer the most privacy within Diamante, with panoramic views of the coastline, mountains, and golf courses.

Ocean Club Residences represent the newest beachfront development: 178 units with two to four bedrooms, including both whole-ownership and shared-ownership options. The complex features expansive pools, swim-up bars, restaurants, and five-star concierge service.

Golf Villas line the Dunes Course in traditional hacienda-style architecture. These four-bedroom homes include private infinity pools, outdoor bars, gourmet kitchens, and garages for both cars and golf carts.

Sunset Hill Estates sit at Diamante’s highest elevation, offering custom homesites with sweeping Pacific views and dramatic sunset exposure.

Legacy Club brings a new tier of exclusivity: approximately 60 homesites at Legacy Highlands overlook the forthcoming Tiger Woods course, while 14 ultra-private Legacy Founders Estates sit directly on the fairways. Membership is limited to 250 families and requires homeownership.

Pricing spans from entry-level condos to oceanfront estates in the eight-figure range. HOA and membership fees are not publicly disclosed; contact BHHS Baja for current terms and available inventory.
